Mah Jongg Section

2026-27

Mah Jongg is a Chinese game of skill, strategy, and luck. If you are familiar with the card game gin rummy, you have a head start in understanding Mah Jongg. There are differences, of course, but it’s the same general idea. Instead of cards, in American Mah Jongg you mix and pick tiles in an attempt to achieve Mah Jongg. There’s nothing more exciting than the moment when you can finally call ‘Mah Jongg’!

Meeting Days: 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, September to May, beginning September 21, 2026.

Meeting Time: 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Dues: Ten dollars

Card Fee: Players are required to use a current Official Standard Hands and Rules card from the National Mah Jongg League: https://www.nationalmahjonggleague.org/
