Mah Jongg Section

2023-24

Mah Jongg is an ancient Chinese game of skill, strategy, and luck. If you are familiar with the card game gin rummy, you have a head start in understanding Mah Jongg. There are differences, of course, but it’s the same general idea. Instead of cards, in Mah Jongg you mix and pick tiles in an attempt to achieve Mah Jongg. There’s nothing more exciting than the moment when you can finally call ‘Mah Jongg’!

Meeting Time: 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm 

Programs Card Fee: Players will be required to use a current Official Standard Hands and Rules card from the National Mah Jongg League. Cards may be purchased from Section Chairs for fifteen dollars.
